We offer a range of metal roofing products and installation methods to fit most budgets:
-
PBR panel: Available in 24 ga, 26 ga, and 29 ga. steel thickness(24 ga. being the thickest and 29 ga. being the thinest). This panel is installed only with exposed fasteners.
-
Standing seam: Available in 24 ga. and 26 ga. steel, or 16 oz. and 20 oz. copper. Standing seam profiles include 1" snap lock, 1.5" mechanical seam(clip fastened), and 1.75" commercial grade snaplock (clip fastened). 25% exposed fastener application is available only for the 1" snaplock, and usually only used for the cheaper 26 ga. panel, and uses exposed fasteners on eves, valleys, rake edge(side trim), wall flashing and pipe flashings. 5% exposed fastener method can be employed on all standing seam varieties and uses exposed fasteners on rake edge, wall flashing, and pipe flashings. Drip edge and valley metal are bent in a way that allows the panel to be folded over, and hooked and locked into place without the use of exposed screws. With this method metal closures rather than foam closures are used for headwall flashing and ridge cap. Expansion and contraction of long rigid sheet metal panels can push and pull on exposed fasteners causing sheering of screws and leaks, and a shorter lifespan for your roof. Concealed fasteners and clips allow movement of panel during expansion and contraction avoiding damage and allowing snow to slide over surface with less friction and drag. This method is highly recommended because it gives your metal roof a longer lifespan and a cleaner look.
-
Metal shingles: available in 26 ga steel, .027 aluminum and 16 oz. copper. This roofing system works very well because eliminates the effects of expansion and contraction(being only 6" to 8" tall by 2' to 3' wide). Flat seams are another benefit allowing the snow to slide unimpeded.
-
Stone coated steel shingles: This roofing system works well because it uses a wood baton lattice frame, allowing cold air to circulate under shingle thus reducing ice buildup. Another benefit is that it can be installed directly over existing roofs.
-
Flat seam panels and slipsheet: This product can be used on the bottom three to five feet of a shingle roof(slip sheet) to help prevent ice damn build up by allowing the snow and ice on edge of roof to slide. This product can also be used to cover entire roof, but only comes in 10' lengths.
-
Custom metal roofing: Tourets, cupola's, finnials and other architectural features can be designed and or fabricated in our shop or fabricated and installed on site.
